A change of mind counts, and we pay the return postage.
3years
A fault means a brand-new complete set, posted before you send the old one back.
Your 90 days start the day your complete set is delivered. Not the day you order, and not the day we post it, so the wait never eats into your trial.
If they are not right for you, for any reason, send them back inside those 90 days for your money back. A change of mind counts. You do not have to explain, and we pay the return postage.
One piece of advice rather than a rule: give them a fair go. Ears usually take a couple of weeks to get used to hearing detail again.
Arrived damaged, or not working? Tell us and we send a brand-new complete set, with the freight paid both ways. That is covered from the first day.
A fault within three years of delivery means a brand-new complete set. Not a repair, and not a refurbished unit. Call or email and your replacement goes out by Express Post. There is no charge to make a claim.
You are never without them.
Every complete set comes with a signed Certificate of Warranty showing your serial numbers, the day your complete set arrived and the day the warranty runs to. The warranty runs from the same delivery date as the trial, and keeps going after the 90 days end.
See the Certificate of WarrantyPDFIf your complete set has not been posted yet, call or email and we will change the order or cancel it. Orders placed before 2pm AEST usually leave North Wollongong the same day, so the sooner the better.
If it has already been posted, nothing is lost. Once it arrives, the 90-day trial covers a change of mind in full.
Try first is a way to pay, not a different price. You pay $500 when you order and the $1,118 balance after you have worn them at home: $1,618 in total, the same as paying in full. There is no fee to use it and no late fee.
The 90-day trial still applies. It runs from the day they arrive. If you pay the balance and change your mind later, you can still send them back inside the 90 days.
If the invoice passes its due date, we will get in touch. You can pay it, or send your complete set back with the prepaid label for your money back. If you do neither, the balance stays owing to Clarion.
The 3-year warranty and advance replacement start the day they arrive, the same as any order. Try first is for one complete set per order, delivered to an address in Australia.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The 90-day trial and the 3-year warranty are extra promises from us. They sit on top of these rights and never replace them.
Call or email, whichever suits you.
Clarion is run by Michael Tuck, ABN 24 669 389 835, North Wollongong NSW 2500.
← Back to Clarion* Refunds. A $238 sanitisation fee is taken from every refund for a returned set, to cover sanitising the returned hearing aids. It does not apply when a set is faulty: your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are never reduced. Your refund is guaranteed. Return postage is on us. Once you post your set, it can take up to 2 weeks to reach us. After it arrives, please allow up to 5 weeks for your refund to be processed and returned to the way you paid (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Afterpay or Zip). These timeframes apply to returns under the 90-day trial and don’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Price lock. Orders placed before 9 October 2026 keep the family price lock they were sold with.
